membership
the aim of the Golden Rosycross is to awaken in those who are open to it insight into their state-of-being and that of the world around us, and to guide the awakened ones on their path of self-liberation. This path begins with self-awareness, and brings forth or accompanies a deep yearning to change oneself and the world, and the discovery of the underlying causes of the world’s troubles. Becoming a member assists one in becoming acquainted with the teachings and in forming a closer connection to the Living Body or power-field of the Golden Rosycross. A member who feels they are ready to walk the path shown by the Golden Rosycross may become a pupil, which means, experiencing an inner resonance with the School’s activities and presence, and becoming actively involved in the vivification of this path through a growing inner need for a deeper spiritual connection.
microcosm
man as minitum mundum, or little world. A very complex spherical life-system, in which one can differentiate, seen from the inside to the outside: the personality, the manifestation-field, the aural being, a sevenfold magnetic Spirit field. True or Original Man is a microcosm. What in this world is meant by 'man' is but the damaged personality of a degenerated microcosm. Our present consciousness is a personality-consciousness and as a result is only conscious of the field of existence to which it belongs. The aural being represents the sum total of powers and values that are the result of the lives of the diverse personalities in the manifestation-field. These powers and values together form the lights, the constellation of our microcosmic firmament. These lights are magnetic foci which, according to their character, define the quality of the magnetic spiritual field, that is, define the nature of the powers and materials that are attracted out of the atmosphere and incorporated into our microcosmic system and so also into the personality. As are the lights, so is the personality. Therefore, a change of being of the personality must be preceded by a change of being of the firmament and the latter is possible only by the self-sacrifice of the I-being, the total self-demolition.
Moon-Cerebral Consciousness
this is a primitive consciousness located in the solar plexus and supported by only the few centres of the head-sanctuary that are guided by the moon. This consciousness was peculiar to Atlantic humankind until the middle of the Atlantic period, and was characterised by an extremely primitive cunning which is still active in many people today.
Mystery Planets
Gnostic science knows of the existence of a number of mystery planets, among which arc Uranus. Neptune and Pluto, for some time now also known to exoteric science. Their activity is the helping hand of God at the end of a Day of Manifestation, to save the greatest possible number of souls. At present the radiation forces of the three mystery planets have again become atmospheric and play an important part in the execution of the Judgement, as they affect all human beings and impel them to the manifestation of their innermost being. This impersonal unmasking which no one can avoid will determine whether or not humankind can maintain itself in the atmospheric conditions of the ongoing plan of salvation. So, there is no question of any arbitrariness in this matter: it will be determined by self-declaration towards which every person is guided by the radiation activities of the mystery planets. Eventually, three more mystery planets will gradually manifest their activities with regard to the development of humankind, and so become visible to humankind When the inner need of their help becomes more immediate, it will be clear that the forces of these mystery planets can be of considerable help to everyone who truly strives for liberation.
Nature of Death
life, true life, means life eternal. But our present field of existence is governed by the law of continuous change and demolition. Everything that comes into being begins to perish again from the very first moment of its generation. From this it appears that what is commonly called ‘life’, is in fact only a temporal existence, and therefore, as to its eternity, an existence of delusion. That is why it is foolish to cling to it as is done by almost the whole of humankind. The sorrow of the natural demolition continually experienced and quite pointlessly resisted will make humankind realise that it is not the nature of death that is intended to be his life-field, but the nature of life, the original Adamitic life-field referred to in the Bible as ‘the Kingdom of Heaven’. The compelling, indestructible human urge for constant happiness, constant peace and imperishable love, and longing for eternal life originate from the original life-nucleus dormant within him; it is the original principle of the true, immortal man. From this original atom, or Christ-atom, from this ‘kingdom within you’, the immortal, true man will arise and return to the nature of life, the house of the Father, through a life-reversal.
Nature-Aeons
monstrous formations of unholy nature-powers which, in the course of time, were called into existence from out of the God-aversive life (including all thinking, willing, feeling, desiring and acting kindled by fear) of fallen humankind. They are the irresistible might of self-maintenance forcing humankind to continue their self-created unholy path, thus securing the tightening of humankind to the turning wheel of dialectics.
Negation
is what Paul calls "dying daily". It is the withdrawal of all interest in everything that is of this world, including our own I-being. It is to refuse continually and definitely all the natural urges in our blood. Such an adjustment of life only makes sense, when it is the logical result of an awakened insight (the real self-knowledge) as regards the true nature and condition of present-day man and of this nature order. By such a conscious and convinced "dying daily" we free the way in ourselves for the twofold activity of the liberating light of the Gnosis, which demolishes what we inwardly reject and builds up what is made possible by the new human manifestation. In this way we die literally according to the old body "in (the demolishing power of) Christ". In this way the past urge of nature is brought to a standstill within us, by which the new nature, the new man, can manifest itself.
New Gnostic Realm
the gnostic astral field, formed out of the pure astral substance of the beginning, built up by the young gnostic Brotherhood in co-operation with the Universal Gnostic Chain, of which it forms the youngest link. Through its activity in two worlds (in the resurrection field of the sixth cosmic domain as well as in our field of existence - the seventh cosmic domain) for the duration of the harvest period, it enables those seeking liberation to enter the resurrection field via the Living Body of the young Gnosis. The Living Body forms the temporary bridge between both cosmic domains. The new gnostic kingdom vivifies all the powers that the pupil needs to cross over this "bridge to life".
