PDF Narración: Narración 3 para la tarde del 24 Dic: El nacimiento de Jesús Se acercaba el momento del nacimiento de Jesús, y María ansiaba ver a Isabel, y ella y José se dirigieron hacia las colinas de Judea. Y cuando llegaron a Belén, era ya tarde y debieron pasar allí la noche. Pero Belén estaba atestada de gente que iba a Jerusalén; las posadas y los hogares estaban llenos de huéspedes y José y su mujer no encontraron otro lugar para descansar más que una cueva donde se guardaban animales; y allí durmieron. A medianoche se oyó un grito: Ha nacido un niño en aquella cueva, entre los animales. He aquí que el hijo del hombre prometido había nacido. Y personas extrañas tomaron al niño, lo envolvieron en las delicadas ropas que María había preparado y lo pusieron en un abrevadero en el que se alimentaban las bestias de carga. Entraron tres personas vestidas con túnicas blancas como la nieve, se pusieron delante del niño y dijeron: Todo poder, toda sabiduría y todo amor sean para ti, Emmanuel. En las colinas de Belén había muchos rebaños de ovejas con pastores que los cuidaban. Los pastores eran devotos, hombres de oración y esperaban la llegada de un gran redentor. Y cuando llegó el niño prometido, se les apareció un hombre con una túnica blanca como la nieve, y retrocedieron asustados. El hombre se puso en pie y dijo: "No temáis; he aquí que os traigo una alegre noticia". A medianoche, en una cueva de Belén, ha nacido el profeta y el rey que habéis esperado por tanto tiempo. Y entonces todos los pastores se llenaron de gozo; sintieron que todas las colinas se llenaban de mensajeros de luz, que decían: Toda la gloria sea para Dios en lo alto; paz, paz en la tierra, buena voluntad para los hombres. Y entonces los pastores acudieron con premura a Belén y a la cueva, para ver y honrar a aquel a quien los hombres habían llamado Emmanuel. Al llegar la mañana, una pastora cuya casa estaba cerca, preparó una habitación para María, José y el niño; y allí se quedaron por muchos días. Y José envió a toda prisa un mensajero a Zacarías y a Isabel para decirles: El niño ha nacido en Belén. Y Zacarías e Isabel tomaron a Juan y vinieron a Belén con palabras de alegría. Y María e Isabel se contaron todas las maravillas que habían sucedido. El pueblo se unió a ellos para alabar a Dios. Según la costumbre de los judíos, el niño fue circuncidado; y cuando le preguntaron: "¿Cómo llamaréis al niño?", la madre dijo: "Se llamará Jesús, como lo ha declarado el hombre de Dios". Reflexión: Reflexión 3 para el 24 de Diciembre: Preparar el camino Preparar el camino En tiempos pasados, cuando la mente humana era mucho más imaginativa que ahora, el camino espiritual se describía principalmente en forma de historias como cuentos de hadas, mitos y leyendas. Cuando permitamos que esas historias, que encierran la verdad universal, nos toquen profundamente, entonces cambiaremos interiormente. Es entonces cuando las imágenes de la sabiduría primordial se graban en el subconsciente. El ser humano moderno, incluso con su conciencia más racional e individualizada, también puede experimentar una influencia sanadora y transformadora a través de tales historias. El efecto de estos relatos puede ser incluso más poderoso que el de las meras explicaciones, porque los símbolos tienen un impacto en la psique humana que difiere en gran medida de las consideraciones racionales y los conceptos intelectuales. Durante casi dos mil años, los relatos escritos sobre la vida de Jesús de Nazaret han impresionado profundamente a la humanidad. Estas historias nos presentan enigmas, con puertas cerradas que sólo pueden abrirse con la llave que se encuentra en la "dualidad del ser humano". Sólo entonces los enigmas pueden convertirse en "buenas noticias" (Evangelio significa "buena noticia"). De los muchos evangelios que se escribieron, finalmente sólo se incluyeron cuatro en la Biblia. De ellos, sólo Mateo y Lucas describen el nacimiento de Jesús. La narración del nacimiento en Mateo no es comparable con el relato de Lucas. Marcos y Juan no escribieron sobre el nacimiento físico de Jesús, sino que comenzaron casi inmediatamente con el nacimiento trascendental de Cristo en el bautismo en el río Jordán. Podemos ver la vida de Jesús descrita en los Evangelios como una representación meticulosa de un camino espiritual que todo ser humano puede seguir. Desde este punto de vista, los Evangelios son registros simbólicos de procesos interiores y los personajes representan aspectos tanto del ser humano exterior como del interior. El relato de la Navidad, la historia del nacimiento de Jesús, es el comienzo de una historia mucho más amplia. Es la historia de Jesús que crece, que cura y hace maravillas, que elige a sus discípulos y cuya vida física termina finalmente en el Gólgota, seguida de la resurrección. Es la historia de un viaje a través del mundo exterior hacia el mundo que está más allá del horizonte interior, el mundo del Espíritu. En el Evangelio de Acuario, la historia de ese viaje comienza con el nacimiento de María. Además de "amargura" o "tristeza", el nombre de María también significa "estrella del mar". En épocas anteriores, el rumbo de un barco era guiado por las posiciones de las estrellas. El nacimiento de María dentro de nosotros otorga a nuestras vidas una nueva estrella, un nuevo destino. ¿De qué otra manera podríamos cruzar el mar interior y encontrar la entrada al pasaje interior? La gran nostalgia María puede ser vista como la inexplicable pero inquebrantable certeza de que existe un orden superior de vida y una gran dignidad humana. La certeza de esa otra vida incluye también la gran promesa de que podremos alcanzar esa meta. Se manifiesta como un sentimiento, el cual es descrito en El libro de Mirdad, de Mikhail Naimy, como "la gran nostalgia". Esa nostalgia está llena de formas no nacidas, pero tiene un propósito muy especial. En el capítulo 31 de El Libro de Mirdad, leemos sobre esto: “La Gran Nostalgia es como la neblina. Emitida por el corazón, envuelve el corazón de la misma manera que la bruma que sale del mar cubre tanto la tierra como el mar. Y así como la neblina oculta a los ojos la realidad visible, presentándose ella misma como la única realidad, así esta Nostalgia sofoca los sentimientos del corazón y hace de sí misma el sentimiento predominante. Y aunque aparentemente carezca de forma, de objetivo y sea tan ciega como la neblina, y al igual que ella esté llena de formas todavía no realizadas, sin embargo, ve claro y tiene una finalidad bien definida.” La realidad de la vida superior "más allá del horizonte" se dará a conocer inevitablemente a quienes se sientan ajenos al mundo que les rodea. Esta nostalgia eleva el corazón a un plano superior y lo protege de la aridez y de las apariencias endebles de la vida exterior. Entonces hay una disposición y una apertura para convertirse en el "discípulo del alma" y para escuchar la voz interior que indica una dirección completamente diferente. En el Evangelio de Lucas y en El Evangelio de Acuario, el nacimiento de Jesús está precedido por el anuncio y el nacimiento de Juan, que más tarde se convertirá en Juan el Bautista. Juan nace del anciano sacerdote Zacarías y de su anciana esposa Isabel. Todo ser humano que ha llegado a la frontera de su vida, a su propio año cero, es un ser humano Zacarías/Elizabeth. La cabeza y el corazón ya no saben hacia dónde dirigirse. Se vuelven silenciosos. Las experiencias vitales en el mundo exterior resultan infructuosas, "sin hijos". En realidad, esta "vejez" y aparente esterilidad contiene los signos de una madurez excepcional y un terreno fértil para algo nuevo: Juan… Ocurre algo especial: durante su trabajo en el templo, Zacarías oye la voz del ángel Gabriel que le dice que se cumplirá la profecía, que Elías será el precursor del Señor, y que su mujer Isabel le dará un hijo al que deberá llamar Juan. Sucedió que, estando Zacarías delante del Señor y quemando el incienso en el Lugar Sagrado, vino Gabriel y se presentó ante su faz. Y Zacarías tuvo miedo; pensó que algún mal vendría sobre los judíos. Descubrir la aridez de nuestra existencia y reconocer interiormente otra realidad, puede tener el efecto purificador de un shock. Las fuerzas del campo del Alma penetran en la personalidad silenciada. Y muy en el fondo somos conscientes de que un gran cambio está a punto de llegar, de que a partir de ese momento nada permanecerá igual. Entonces Gabriel se dirige a Isabel "mientras estaba en el silencio de su hogar" y le anuncia también el nacimiento de Juan. Juan, el precursor, nace de nuestra búsqueda cada vez más infructuosa de una vida buena y pura (Isabel) y de nuestra búsqueda de la verdad y el conocimiento (Zacarías). Inevitablemente, cada uno de nosotros encontrará ese límite en algún momento. Cada uno de nosotros experimentará, tarde o temprano, que la pureza y el conocimiento que realmente buscamos parecen esconderse tras un horizonte lejano que se nos escapa a la misma velocidad con la que intentamos acercarnos a él. Por mucho que leamos y sepamos, por mucho bien que hagamos a nuestros semejantes, nunca es suficiente. Esto caracteriza a Juan: el anhelo del Otro en nosotros, que nos proporciona la fuerza para entrar en nuevos caminos y que está dispuesto a "ser el discípulo del que viene detrás". Porque en cuanto experimentemos la gran nostalgia, el profundo anhelo por la vida más allá del horizonte, se producirán dos procesos en nuestro interior: la futilidad y aridez cada vez más conscientes de nuestra existencia, y un deseo cada vez más fuerte por la vida superior. Se dice que Juan es la encarnación del profeta Elías. Elías simboliza la herencia espiritual inmaterial en forma de fuerza y sabiduría que dejaron en nuestro mundo todas las entidades humanas que regresaron al mundo del Espíritu. Tan pronto como Juan nace dentro de nosotros, entonces 'Elías' se pone a nuestra disposición también. El ser exterior nace en un "ser-Juan". El nombre Juan significa 'Dios es bondadoso' porque esta condición significa que la vida superior puede expresarse como algo más que nostalgia. Juan, el ser exterior, parte del impulso interior de "enderezar sus caminos para el que viene detrás". A través de María, tenemos la certeza interior de que por Juan poseemos la nueva fuerza para actuar. Y con Elías tenemos a mano todo el conocimiento interior que necesitamos. Juan es el ser humano que está al servicio del ser interior -simbolizado por Jesús- que nacerá no sólo después de él, sino también dentro de él. Pasaron cinco meses y Gabriel se acercó a María en su hogar de Nazaret y le dijo: ¡Salve María, salve! Una vez bendecida en nombre de Dios; dos veces bendecida en nombre del Santo Aliento; tres veces bendecida en nombre de Cristo; porque eres digna, y darás a luz un hijo que se llamará Emmanuel. Su nombre es Jesús, porque él salva a su pueblo de sus pecados. [...] Y María fue de prisa a contar a Isabel las promesas de Gabriel; juntas se alegraron. Introducción al programa espiritual de Pascua En realidad, la Pascua debería celebrarse en torno al equinoccio de primavera. Entre el 21 y el 23 de marzo, la luz del día está exactamente en equilibrio con la oscuridad de la noche. Pero como la determinación del día exacto de esta fiesta se basa en el calendario lunar de la tradición judía precristiana, la Pascua suele celebrarse muchos días después del equinoccio. Sin embargo, su significado espiritual está estrechamente ligado al simbolismo de este equilibrio entre el día y la noche. La noche simboliza nuestra vida cotidiana: mientras la luz de nuestra alma no haya nacido en nosotros, vivimos como un ser humano enfocado hacia el exterior -la personalidad- en una profunda oscuridad espiritual. Por desgracia, la mayoría de la gente no se da cuenta de esta oscuridad; creen que la luz natural de la mente humana ya ha disipado todas las tinieblas. Por lo tanto, la tenue luz que brilla en el mundo del alma no puede penetrar en la personalidad. Lo que para la personalidad es luz, es oscuridad para el alma y, lo que es luz para el alma, sigue siendo oscuridad para la personalidad. En la tradición judía, la Pascua se asocia con el éxodo de Egipto, donde el pueblo elegido vive en la esclavitud. Simbólicamente hablando, todo aquel en quien hay algo de la luz del alma, pertenece a este pueblo elegido. Egipto representa el mundo de las tinieblas en el que el hombre exterior vive esclavizado a todos los placeres terrenales, de modo que el alma nueva no puede manifestarse. Además, esta historia muestra otro significado importante: no podemos ser redimidos de esta oscuridad por nuestras propias fuerzas, basándonos en los rasgos de nuestra personalidad. Necesitamos la ayuda del mundo del alma. Pero sólo podemos acceder a esta ayuda si estamos dispuestos a morir con respecto al mundo de Egipto, es decir, si dejamos de ser guiados por nuestros pensamientos, sentimientos y deseos cotidianos. Sí, esto significa que tenemos que estar dispuestos a pasar por un proceso de "morir diariamente", ya que sólo este proceso permite que la luz del mundo del alma nueva penetre más y nos impregne de la Luz del Espíritu. En otras palabras, debemos estar dispuestos a sacrificarnos por el bien de la vida del alma. Así, una y otra vez, la fiesta de Pascua nos confronta con la necesidad de la purificación de nuestro corazón.
