We live in a time of relentless tension, work, relationships, technology, politics, and crises on every screen. The result is an inner state of contradiction: we want peace yet act in ways that deepen division. We long for connection yet feel separate and defensive. This is the “fundamental conflict” of the human being, a deep split between our longing for unity and the ego’s insistence on being the center of the world.
