The hermetic traditions of Ancient Egypt, with its curious hieroglyphics, mute statues, ubiquitous temples, and its imposing but silent pyramids present us with an enduring mystery. It is a mystery to us because contemporary archaeology and Egyptology do not possess the gnostic keys required to decode the symbols of initiation that were purposely embedded within every aspect of that glorious civilization.
