If you want to change the world, start with yourself!

These immortal words of Mahatma Gandhi still resonate around the world and in the heart of every person who longs for liberation from the anguish we experience in everyday life.

But how do we begin this process of inner change and realize the new reality Gandhi was referring to? How can I truly change my life and heal the Soul that cries out to be freed from the prison of my egocentricity?

The first step is to gain insight into, and so truly understand, what Gandhi meant by "start with yourself" and what the Golden Rosycross means by "healing the Soul." 

The self Gandhi speaks of is our ordinary, everyday - and yes - egocentric consciousness. This self-consciousness is also referred to in spiritual contexts as the soul, which, in part, it is. But this is not the Soul that the Golden Rosycross refers to as needing healing. After all, doesn't the Universal Wisdom say, "the soul that sins must die"?

Do you see the need for a change, for a total transformation, of the world and humankind's perspective of it? If so, then you need to start this revolution, this healing transformation, within yourself!

When we start with changing our self, the healing of the Soul, the Other One within, can begin. Then we walk a path of relinquishing our ordinary egocentric self, thereby allowing the restoration of the original, divine dormant Soul within us.

This is the alchemy, the healing transformation of the "new" Soul that Gnostics throughout the ages have practiced. And this is the path the pupils of the Golden Rosycross would like to share with you at our events this month.
