In this concise booklet, the reader is given a brief overview of the Spiritual School of the Golden Rosycross, it message and its work, as an introduction to the question: what is transfiguration? Mankind has entered a new phase of consciousness development, a phase that is characterised by a deepening  self-awareness. This self-awareness is the keystone to a path guided by self-autonomy, a path of self-liberation that leads to the transmutation and eventual transfiguration of the whole being.

The aim of this booklet is to bring us closer to an understanding that this Soul rebirth, this reuniting with the Spirit, is predicated on a life devoted to the service of others, being the one fundamental expression of true Love. Only in self-sacrifice; only in humility and service, can the rebirth from ‘water and spirit’ become a reality within us.

We are also made aware that this sacrifice, this Love sacrifice, is also extended to all of fallen humanity, as an impersonal spiritual gift that encompasses everyone. If the heart is open through its longing to return to its true origin, then this Love radiation cannot be withheld from such a person, but becomes a light possession that illuminates their path to rebirth. Through this path of transmutation, the mind, the heart and the whole of life is transfigured into a new soul reality that is once again connected to the Spirit of True Love.
