In this series of addresses, the path that leads to the transfiguration of the human being, to the union with the Spirit, is approached from a more structural and organic perspective. Mankind, in his fallen state, possesses bodily organs that have both a physical function in maintaining the health and balance of the whole being, but also, possess a higher spiritual function as well. Now that man’s journey in matter has reached the point where his consciousness has attained a deeper level of self-awareness, this new attribute is also accompanied by new spiritual possibilities, that include a significant role to be played by many bodily organs. Hence the care and maintenance of the bodily vehicle is a spiritual imperative for laying the foundations for any spiritual development.

The great Plan that underlies human existence, includes the development and culmination of a fully organised personality that can then guide the life system to a higher spiral of self-realization. As humanity has reached that point of maturity of the personality, it has at the same time, entered a new period of inter-cosmic radiation potential, a potential that can, through the correct attitude to life, prove to be a wonderful stimulus on this liberating path.

The new ‘atmosphere’ that now surrounds us, charged by the influences of Aquarius, interpenetrate and stimulate into a certain directed activity, all four vehicles of the personality (the physical, etheric, astral and mental bodies), and therefore, bring a heightened spiritual activity to many of the body’s organs.

Thus, this activity brings about certain changes to our thinking and emotional life, and therefore to our behaviours, all directed to the fulfilment of the great Plan for humanity.
