The human body is a marvel of Divine construction. It is the instrument that enables Spirit (which is invisible and of a very high vibration) to experience in the Physical Domain (which is very dense due to its extremely low vibration).
To enable this connection between Spirit and the Body, the mortal Soul performs the function of an intermediary between the two.
There you have a very rough outline of what is supposed to be the working relationship between Spirit, Soul, and Body. That is the way this Tri-Unity was originally designed to function
