Endura

the path of I-demolition, through self-surrender of the I to the Other One, the immortal man, the Christ within us. It is the path of John, "who makes straight the paths for his Lord". It is to put into practice the words: "He - the heavenly Other One - must grow and I must diminish, I must perish so that the heavenly Other One may live in me." The path of the Endura is the way which has existed throughout all times, and by which fallen man ascends, by means of the purifying fire of a total reversal of his life, to his true, immortal being and returns to the Father.

Ephesian

the seeking human being who, in his desire for true sublimation and purification of life, goes the path of goodness in this plane of existence and will sooner or later discover that this path has a definite culminating point, an absolute boundary that cannot be crossed by an earthly human of this world. The Holy Language calls the seeker, who has penetrated to this borderland, an Ephesian. Such a human being is confronted with the great choice of freeing himself from the limitations of dialectics by a fundamental change of life, or of remaining chained to the turning wheel and undergoing the anguish of the decline, which is inevitable by the law of nature.

Fall, The

the cosmic drama in which part of the human life-wave became entangled in the grip of nature and began to identify with it, losing sight of its original link with the Spirit, and consequently, breaking that link it once had with the original divine human life-field.

firmament

represents the whole of the powers, values and bonds that are the result of the lives of the various personality-apparitions in the field of manifestation. All these powers, values and bonds together constitute the lights, the stars of our microcosmic firmament. These lights are magnetic foci which with their nature, determine the quality of the magnetic spirit field; that is to say: determine the nature of the powers and substances that are attracted out of the atmosphere and absorbed into the microcosmic system and, therefore, also into the personality, so that the personality is quite in accordance with the nature of these lights. Therefore, the change of the nature of the personality must be preceded by the change of the nature of the firmament, which is possible only through the self-sacrifice of the I-being, through the total I-elimination.

field of manifestation

the direct field of power in which the life of the personality is possible. Also referred to as the respiration field. This field connects the aural being with the personality and is absolutely one with the personality in its effects of attraction and repulsion of powers and substances for the benefit of the life and the preservation of it

Fivefold Universal Gnosis

the five phases of development in which and through which the path of life manifests itself in the pupil. These are, in order of manifestation: 1. insight, 2. yearning for salvation, 3. self-surrender, 4. new attitude of life, 5. resurrection in the new life.

Fixing the Rose to the Cross

a phase on the path of the pupil in which he causes his material personality to surrender to the Other One, guided by clear insight and a true longing for salvation, so that the true God-man, the Pymandric man, will be able to arise.

foci

Spiritual working-places of the present-day mystery school, the Lectorium Rosicrucianum, in which the Light-forces of the Gnosis manifest themselves.

Four Elements

the natural world manifests in and through the four elements: fire, water, air and earth.

gnosis

God's breath of Love, the fulness of Radiation emanating from the Logos, the Source of all Things, in and through which man may fulfill the great plan of salvation. This fulness of Radiation imparts to the seeker all Wisdom, Love, and Power needed, if he turns to the Light in all sincerity. Also, the Universal Brotherhood, as the bearer and the manifestation of the Radiation field of Christ. Also, the living knowledge which is of and with God and becomes part of all those who enter the light-birth of God, the pymandric state of consciousness, through the rebirth of the soul.

Gnostic

that which is of the Gnosis, or related to the Gnosis.

Gnostic Christ

in the Gnostic Christian tradition, Christ is seen as a divine being which has taken human form in order to lead humanity to the recognition and restoration of its own divine nature.
