Many emissaries were inspired by the Rosicrucian Manifestos, and it is the light of their spiritual endeavours that the world work of the Universal Brotherhood, the Brotherhood of the Rosycross, has taken these spiritual laws as the foundation stones of a great liberating work being carried out on behalf of all humanity, and is openly offered to us as a calling, an inspiration, and as a firm guide upon which to measure our own inner readiness. If we respond positively to this calling, our ‘outer’ life becomes a reflection of our connection to the Light of the Spirit, and we become a ‘tool in the hands of God’.

Sommaire

With the publication of the ‘Fama Fraternitatis – The Call of the Brotherhood of the Rosycross’, ‘The Confession of the Brotherhood of the Rosycross’, and  ‘The Alchemical Wedding of Christian Rosycross’ , between 1614 and 1616, a new Christian spiritual impulse, under the banner of ‘Rosicrucianism’, was born. In the following centuries, many emissaries worked under this same banner, and it is the light of these spiritual endeavours that has remained unchanged, and which is addressed in these pages.

In this regard, we are given a glimpse of the life of Johann Valentin Andrea, the recognised author of both ‘The Alchemical Wedding’ and ‘Christianopolis’. Accepting that his ‘outer’ life is but a reflection of a deeper soul quality, driven by its connection to the Light of the Spirit, we are also given insights into how the man is but a ‘tool in the hands of God’, guided towards expressing those inner spiritual impulses through his life’s work. In ‘The Alchemical Wedding’ Andrea has given us a detailed account of the path that every man must walk in true self-authority, while in ‘Christianopolis’ he gives us a symbolic account of the life and character of the inhabitants of liberated Souls.

Focusing on the world work of the Universal Brotherhood, the Brotherhood of the Rosycross, we are given a detailed account of the ‘sixfold agreement’ that underlies the efforts of every brother and sister who has placed themselves in service of fallen mankind. These spiritual laws are the foundation stones of any liberating work carried out on behalf of humanity, and are openly given to us as a calling, an inspiration, and as a firm guide upon which to measure our own inner readiness.
